What is LOXOF?



  • LOXOF contains Levofloxacin which belongs to a group of medicines called antibiotics








Therapeutic Uses

 










What LOXOF is used for?


It is used to treat infections of the:



  • Lungs, in people with pneumonia

  • Urinary tract, including your kidneys or bladder

  • Prostate gland, where you have a long-lasting infection

  • Skin and underneath the skin, including muscles. This is sometimes called ‘soft tissue’


It is also used to lessen the chances of getting a pulmonary disease named anthrax






Directions & For Use

 











  • LOXOF must only be given by a doctor or nurse

  • It will be given into one of your veins
